There’s a wonderful card on offer at Kilkenny this evening.
The second round of the valuable TIME Greyhound Nutrition A3 525 takes centre stage, but there will also be huge interest in the final of the KGOBA ON1, which features some hugely promising trackers.
BULBA LOOKS A SERIOUS PROSPECT
Taras Bulba flew around on debut to win in 28.91 last week, suggesting he is set for a big future.
He will start a warm favourite for the open unraced but can’t afford any mistakes with the likes of Annual Bucko and Crossfield Josh ready to pounce.
Annual Bucko posted 29.15 last week, showing fine early speed and is likely to race prominently, while Crossfield Josh ran well in defeat on debut and should go faster.
However, Taras Bulba is potentially very talented and is a confident selection to come home in front at the expense of Annual Bucko.
DREAM TO FOLLOW UP
After setting the standard in the opening round, Willkies Dream is set to continue his winning ways in the second round of the TIME Greyhound Nutrition A3 525.
One of four winners for Karol Ramsbottom last week, he can get loose early to see off his kennel companion Bricken Sober and the likely improver Fun Time Max.
CRAIC LOOKS THE PART
Ramsbottom also has a strong hand in the second heat where All About Craic can make the best of an outside draw to come out on top.
Triangle Musashi did plenty right in defeat last week and can emerge a serious threat, although he needs to come away on terms.
ACE READY TO SERVE UP ANOTHER VICTORY
There is a strong chance Karol Ramsbottom could also have a big say in the final heat with Deadly Ace boasting the best opening round form on offer.
He took charge as they entered the back straight last week before emerging a comfortable winner in 29.40. He seems to be improving with each run and can see off the likes of Lemon Gogo and San Diego this evening.
