UK RAIDERS ACCLAIM, SHONTAE AND PABLO AMONGST IRISH SPRINT CUP ENTRY

It is wonderful to see three UK trained runners amongst the entry for the opening round of the Bar 1 Betting Irish Sprint Cup.

The draw for the sprint classic will be made on Wednesday at midday and the names of Good Acclaim, Ballymac Shontae and Thurlesbeg Pablo will in the hat.

Of the trio, Good Acclaim and Thurlesbeg Pablo in particular boast some fine form with the former seen as one of the very best in the UK. It’s wonderful to see a UK challenge and we wish all three the best going forward.

As of Monday morning, it looks as though the opening round will feature 54 sprinters. We look forward to reviewing the draw on Wednesday and can’t wait for one of the great competitions of the year to get underway at the weekend.
