OREO THE RIGHT CHOICE IN THE SLANEYSIDE FINAL

DARING OREO, for Stephanie Maguire and Michael Kennedy, is selected to bounce out in front and make all the running in the €2,500 to the winner Slaneyside Kennels Solutions A1 Stake final at Kilochan Park tonight.

The August puppy has won five of his 11 career starts, and he impressed last week when displaying massive speed and power to win, in 28.55. Drawn well in trap three, he should have little trouble in clearing his inside two runners, and if slipping around in front, which looks likely, then he should take the world of beating. A real classy sort, he's the one to beat for sure in this feature final.

Same Oul Town, for Ken O'Neill, is the next best. The three-time winner set a career best last week, clocking 28.60, and the sole seeded runner should enjoy plenty of racing room out wide. An explosive start will be needed; however, he looks capable, and he should be in the mix. A big run is expected.
