JASON SOLD AND ABSENT BUT MARTY CAN SCORE AT DUNDALK

Litter brothers Magical Jason and Magical Marty both looked potentially top class in the opening round of the Bar 1 Betting ON1 400 at Dundalk last weekend.

The former posted a sensational 20.84 and it clearly caught the attention of many potential buyers but Kevin Hutton won the pursuit of the son of Ballymac Cashout.

Pat Guilfoyle confirmed that both greyhounds had been sold in the past days with Magical Jason joining Kevin Hutton and withdrawn from tonight’s final. He is certainly an exciting prospect and is set to join Hutton on Monday. We wish him the best going forward.

Magical Marty has also been sold to the Westwell Racing Syndicate and is set to stay with Guilfoyle for the time being. Of course, they previously owned Magical Bale and Magical Kuba and are no strangers to success. They can look forward to a great journey with Magical Marty, starting this evening with the hugely talented youngster chosen to lead home Highview Cert and Dryland Viper.

BAY AND BASSETT TO SCORE

Elsewhere on the Dundalk card, there are two semi-finals of the Track Supporters Club A3 525 and opening round form suggests that Francisco Bay and Berties Bassett can emerge on top.

The former won in 28.87 last week and seems to improving all the time. He is selected to make all at the expense of Hallies Cashout.

Berties Bassett is also improving all the time and made a successful four-bend debut last week when scoring in 28.85. He gave the impression he would go even faster and is a confident selection to emerge on top at the expense of Hazelhill Marty and Whiterock Storm.
