IRISH ENTRIES FOR JUVENILE AT TOWCESTER

Ian Fortune

Paul Hennessy and Graham Holland have both made entries for the Time Greyhound Nutrition Juvenile Championship at Towcester.

It was reported in recent days that entries were very slow to come in for the £5,000 one-off invitational race but since that news a whole host of greyhounds have been entered. These include recent Tote Gold Cup winner Coloursaregreen or Paul Hennessy, while Graham Holland has put forward Gaytime Clyde and Swords Style. The latter was a finalist in the Gold Cup at Shelbourne Park and recently displayed promise in his first look at Towcester in a Derby Trial Stake.

Of course, Bockos Diamond represented Ireland in the 2025 renewal, finishing third to Proper Heiress with subsequent English Derby champion Droopy Plunge second. The Irish have twice won the famous invitation with the Owen McKenna trained Express Ego in 2007 and the Graham Hollanbd trained Faypoint Harvey as recently as 2024.
