After a superb display in Saturday’s semi-finals, Sleight Of Hand is now favourite with BOYLE Sports to land the Shelbourne Maiden Derby at the weekend.

The competition will come to a conclusion on Friday night – switching from Saturday – and Sleight Of Hand has been introduced the 11-8 favourite to land the €10,000 prize.

Ballymac Malinas has been beaten in both rounds to date but displayed far more in his latest defeat and is seen as the second best in the market. He is just 5-2 to open his account at the eighth time of asking.

Magical Fiona is next in at 4-1, ahead of semi-final winner Jacktavern Bull and the strong running Uncle Keith at 6-1. Harvard Square is the rank outsider at 14-1.
