BAR 1 BETTING IRISH GREYHOUND LAURELS KICK STARTS ON SATURDAY NIGHT

All roads lead to Curraheen Park on Saturday night for the opening round of the €30,000 to the winner Bar 1 Betting Irish Greyhound Laurels.

11 first round heats Saturday night. Three to qualify from heat with three fastest 4th places runners making up 36 greyhounds for the second round. 

It looks a fantastic Laurels once again this year and it will take some winning over the next couple of weeks. 

Liam Dowling has a very strong hand, with the likes of Ballymac Setanta, Ballymac Kamala and Solo And Go, a runner-up last year.

English Greyhound Derby Champion Lennies Eddie is another big name in the mix. Paul Hennessy also has the likes of Coloursaregreen, Lennies Dynamic and Jaykay Fly. 

Montana Secret will be a local runner for trainer John Linehan and the O’Reilly family.
