ENNISCORTHY GEARING UP FOR JUNE 1ST FUNDRAISER

Ian Fortune

All roads lead to the sunny south east on Bank Holiday Monday, June 1st.

Enniscorthy has been largely self-sufficient for a number of years and the evening will act as their big fundraiser for the year. It’s important for all greyhound racing folk and the wider community to support the night and things are looking good.

There was a thousand pre-sale tickets printed for the night and most have been picked up, while they have been inundated with sponsorship offers. It goes to show that people recognise the hard work and dedication being put in by those keeping the track going.

The night itself will feature a tremendous card, while there be food available on the night, a raffle, a treasure hunt and face-painting for the kids, while there is also free admission for the younger folk.

If you can make it to Enniscorthy on the night, please do so. The gates will open at 7.30pm with the opening race at 8pm.
