It seems certain that anyone involved in the sport of greyhound racing in Ireland has already heard of the newly formed Centennial Racing Club. The full details of the club are available on the IGOBF’s web page at the link: https://www.igobf.org/2027-centennial-racing-club/
The tagline of the club reads, “One Club, Six dogs, a year to remember” and that seems very fitting for what they hope to achieve.
The club is named after next year’s centenary celebrations for the sport on the island of Ireland and that is why those behind the initiative hope to recruit 1927 members at €100 or £100.
Full details are listed below, but it would be better to hear it from one of those involved. That is why we recently sat down with Rory Hickey of the IGOBF to discuss the Centennial Racing Club. The Part 1 video can be found below. Why not check it out and make sure to get involved.
FULL DETAILS
The main points regarding the club are highlighted below. Importantly, this venture is fully backed by the GRI, while there will be real transparency as regards the dogs. Indeed, one suspects the behind-the scenes-stuff will make for plenty of online content.
