Limerick Greyhound Stadium is a purpose-built modern stadium, opened in 2010, which offers a wide range of facilities and amenities to ensure all guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience, whether visiting for events, dining, or social occasions.
The Ground Floor area of Limerick Greyhound Stadium is the space that our General Admission customers can enjoy on their race night out with us, with all that you need for a great night out including Bar service, Food Outlet, seating areas, and more.
Our Ground Floor Offers the following:
Markets Field Bar – This horse-shoe shaped bar lies at the heart of our Ground Floor space and is a nod to the old home of Greyhound Racing in Limerick, named after the iconic Markets Field in Garryowen which was our home from the 1930’s through to 2010. The bar is stocked with all your favourites draught and bottled drinks, spirits and non-alcoholic options.
Greenpark Grill – The Greenpark Grill is Limerick Greyhound Stadium’s Fast-Food outlet offering tasty meals to grab and enjoy on your night out. We also serve teas and coffees, minerals and sweet treats here too. If you’ve booked a Group Admission offer which includes fast-food, you can redeem it here.
There’s seating options across the Ground Floor with plenty of TV’s offering the racing action outside and Intertrack with the best racing from other venues on the night. We also show other sport on select TV’s when available.
On nights where we offer live music, you’ll find it here with a stage and dancefoor beside the bar.
You also have easy access to the outdoor Grandstand viewing area and the Mezz area upstairs from here so you can easily move around to find the best racing viewing spot or a seat that you like!

The Mezz Bar is located between the Ground Floor and Restaurant levels and offers direct access to the outdoor Grandstand Area and the Ground Floor.
There is a fully-stocked bar and Tote service available for racegoers.
The Mezz is tiered with seating on all levels, accessed via stairs, with the top-level accessible via the stairs or lift.
There are TV’s to view the racing action and it is also glass-fronted with views of the racing outside.
Male, Female and Accessible Toilet Facilities are located in the Mezz Bar.
Our Restaurant offers the best views in the house with a fully glass front offering panoramic views of the racing action outside. All food, drink and Tote service is direct to your table so once you’re settled in, you can enjoy your night in comfort.
Named after the oldest Classic Greyhound Racing event in Limerick, the Leger Restaurant is tiered with tables across 4 levels allowing all our customers great views outside. There are also TV’s showing racing from both Limerick and other locations via the Intertrack.
You will also find Male, Female and Accessible Toilets.
Limerick Greyhound Stadium offers two Private Suites, the Treaty Suite and the Shannon Suite, named in honour of our great city. The Private Suites are located at the top of our Restaurant, separated by glass, with private entrance to both. They can be opened to serve as one space for larger groups or closed off via a glass door.
Both suites have a Private Bar offering drinks.
The Private Suites can be accessed via stairs or lift and offer Male, Female and Accessible toilets.

Full wheelchair access throughout the stadium with lift access to upper floors – please note however that within certain areas there are tiered seating to offer the best views of racing to all our racegoers. Not all tiers are accessible so if you’re booking a restaurant meal, group offer or private suite, please let us know so we can ensure your group is accomodated in an appropriate area.

If you have lost an item, please contact any member of staff or visit the Security Station at the main entrance. Alternatively, you can contact our Sales Team on 061448080 on Monday through to Saturday.
