While attention at Limerick is currently focused on the TIME Club Graders Derby, the track is also looking ahead, with entries now being accepted for the 2026 West Limerick Treaty Cup Open 350.
This event always proves a popular contest given the limited number of sprinting opportunities on the calendar, and it has been won by some of the finest speedsters of recent times. Indeed, the 2025 renewal was landed by Stonepark Browne, who incidentally smashed the track record during the event, posting a phenomenal 18.12 in round two. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Michael J O’Donovan-trained tracker return this year in a bid to defend his crown.
With a lucrative €5,000 winner’s prize on offer, connections with a suitable entry are encouraged to contact the Limerick racing office without delay.
