Renata (Ballyhimikin Jet-Florentis) went quickest on the clock in the semi-finals of the A5 1xBet Tour Series at Youghal Greyhound Stadium on Saturday afternoon. 

In the care of Pat Budds, Killeagh, the in-form tracker was following up on last week's success when delivering another big finish to land the spoils. The 5-2 shot got the better of Ballydorgan Val, by a length and a half, in 29.96. 

A length and a half back to Slaneyside Pedro in third place. Going on recent performances, she will take all the beating in next week's feature final.

In the second semi-final, Lyreen Pearl (Malachi-Our Dog Bridie) returned to winning ways for the kennel of David Budd, Araglin. The 11-8 favourite overcame trouble at the opening corner to score, in 30.50. 

The strong-running winner finished well to beat Hollyhill Vauban, by four and a half lengths. Band Of Velvet a length back in third.
