LUKA SET FOR SALVER AT CENTRAL PARK

Ian Fortune

A notable name appeared in the opening round draw for the upcoming Silver Salver at Central Park.

Magical Luka had already been confirmed as a likely challenger for the leading sprint competition after rejoining Kevin Hutton and he has been drawn in Heat 3 of the Category 1.

The brilliant son of King Sheeran and Magical Mary posted a quick 16.00 at Central Park for the 277m trip last Saturday week and is likely to go even faster on Saturday. That should see him emerge a comfortable winner of his opening round heat but things will get trickier with Shadow Storm, one of the UK’s very best sprinters waiting in the long grass.

There are no prices available as yet about the competition but it seems safe to assume Magical Luka and Shadow Storm will be right at the top of the market.
