Scooby The Lady continues to interrupt the Irish dominance at the top of the English Derby market with the flying daughter of Grangeview Ten and Scooby Princess a 5-1 chance with sponsors Stars Sports.
It means that Ireland are ONLY responsible for four of the top five in the betting with Epic Ace topping the market at 3-1.
Ballymac Duffle is next in at 5-1, alongside Scooby The Lady, while Ballymac Ralf and Ballymac Deniro are just behind at 13-2 and 7-1 respectively. Proper Heiress may have been well beaten into third behind Epic Ace in the quarter finals but is just 17-2 to land the classic, ahead of another very talented UK trained bitch, Strike It Skye at 10-1.
Hackney Corner continues to look comfortable in the classic and is just 12-1 for outright glory with Lennies Eddie perhaps representing a bit of value at 14-1. It’s worth pointing out that the latter was the second fastest qualifier in the quarter finals, finishing just a length and a half behind the standard-setting Ballymac Deniro.
Lennies Tank has yet to show his best around Towcester, often losing his chance at traps, but he remains a player at 28-1 with Ballymac Iroko a 33-1 chance despite running a huge race in defeat behind Epic Ace last weekend.
Sole Focus, who began his career around Curraheen Park, is the outsider of the field at 80-1. The full market can be found below.
