It was perhaps no surprise to see Ballymac Chantry challenge for the Donal Beatty memorial Corn Cuchulainn but the addition of Derby finalist Glengar Silent comes as a real boost to the six-bend classic, which gets underway at Shelbourne Park on Saturday.
The duo share favouritism with BOYLE Sports at 3-1 with the hugely talented Lennies Desire next in at 9-2. There are only three opening round heats with four to qualify but the entry is packed with quality. Singalong Polly is also returning to 750yds and is the 10-1 fourth choice in the market, just ahead of her kennel companion Deerjet Matilda at 12-1. It means that Pat Buckley has three of the top five in the market.
