HOLLYHILL PAD lit up Curraheen Park on Saturday night as the Kieran Lynch-trained runner clocked a sensational 28.09 in the opening round of the €5,000 to the winner TIME Greyhound Nutrition Cork Cup.
The Ger Gubbins-owned runner produced a dream start and once he slipped around in front, he was always going to take the world of catching. The April youngster was in top gear on the back straight, displaying all sorts of pace to storm clear of Seek The Kingdom.
Pulling further and further clear, it was all one-way traffic up-front as the impressive winner came home nine and a half lengths clear of Seek The Kingdom.

In the fourth heat, Mister Myles caught the eye when coming from well off the pace to record back-to-back wins for the Clonmel Five Syndicate. The 9-4 shot finished strongly to land the spoils, half a length in front of the front-running Clongeel Buddy.
Improving all the time, Vedfield Tiger came home in front to win heat number five for Julie O'Sullivan and Fiadh Murphy. In front before the opening bend, the 5-2 winner kicked on down the back straight and he just held on from the fast-finishing Parkview Sprite. A neck the margin, in 28.77.
In the closing heat, Burgess Canon, trained by Paraic Campion for Sheila Spillane and JJ Fennelly, put on a smart front-running winning display. Back-to-back wins for the in-form tracker, posting 28.75 in beating Senahel Beauty, by a length.
